It says RIGHT ON THE PACKAGE that this chalk pen should only be used on non-porous surfaces. All the people giving it poor reviews because it "ruined my chalkboard" or "stained the [obviously completely porous] piece of wood I tried to use it on" obviously can't read directions. If you use it for its intended purpose, it works great. Takes a little while to get the ink flowing, but other than that, no complaints.

I use this pen to write on plexi-glass. It was terrific once I got it primed (it took about 50 pumps). Wipes off with just a tissue, no water required. I plan to buy more.
